Some history:
Mana Little Theatre (MLT) has been an integral part of the Plimmerton community for over 50 years now. We are based in ‘The Studio’, which is located behind the Plimmerton Pavilion on Sunset Parade, Plimmerton.  Originally the theatre used the Pavilion itself for its performances but since moving into our current premises in 1979 we have endeavoured to regularly present up to four productions each year covering a range of genres from drama and comedy to musicals on our own stage.  An update to the theatre’s seating in 2008 means that we can now comfortably seat up to 50 patrons and are able to provide an even more relaxed and intimate theatre experience.
 
Over the years MLT has showcased the talents of a number of local writers and musicians in the plays we have produced and the concerts we have hosted. We can also proudly claim to have launched a number of actors on to national and international careers in theatre, television and film. Being actively involved in the theatre at Mana gives people of all ages the opportunity to learn about stagecraft and the equally important backstage roles as part of an enthusiastic community.
 
Membership in MLT offers some great benefits as well, including a discount on ticket prices, regular newsletters, information on upcoming auditions and productions and fun social evenings. Bookings are essential for all productions. These can be made by phoning the theatre on 233 1127 or the alternative booking phone number listed on publicity material.
Performance dates are Wednesday – Saturday nights over a 10 day period. All performances start at 8.00pm unless otherwise specified.
